"The summit is what drives us, but the climb itself is what matters." — Conrad Anker
I recently hiked the North and South Kinsman in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and the beauty from the summit reminded me of how important it is to not get stuck in inspiration.
Inspiration is important—it helps us to see life not just for how it's always been but for how it could be—but unless we translate that inspiration into motivated action we'll never reach the summit of what life could be.
There are those who are afraid that their life is going to end, but for many this fear is misguided. What they should instead be leery of is that their life will never truly begin.
The Magic Word Summit reminds us that there's always going to be another mountain, and that the day we die is the day we lose motivation to keep on aiming for the next peak!
