What You Will Achieve

​WEEK 1: Behavior Principles
This session is dedicated to learning the four primary behavior motivators and how to work with them to enable effective communication with others. As a result of this session, you will:
  • Explain the four primary fears that motivate behavior,
  • identify your own behaviour style,
  • and select strategies for communicating with others effectively using the DISC Communication Rubric.
 
WEEK 2: Connection Practices
This session is dedicated to exploring strategies for overcoming obstacles to connecting with others to empower meaning relationships. As a result of this session, you will:
  • Recognize real and perceived barriers to connecting with others,
  • practice verbal and nonverbal communication techniques,
  • select strategies for authentically connecting with others.
 
WEEK 3: Influencing Strategies
This session is dedicated to engaging your new communication and connecting knowledge and skills as a force for good to influence positive change. As a result of this session, you will:
  • Identify the three key relationships in the relationship compass,
  • explain when to use each of the four influencing styles,
  • identify your preferred influencing style,
  • and create a plan for using your communication, connecting, and influencing knowledge and skills to be a force for good for the people and communities your serve.

Sessions are facilitated via Zoom along with additional resources in an online classroom for independent study, reflection, and application.

Jonas Cain, M. Ed. is an author, speaker, and magician, bringing a unique perspective to the field of community engagement, leadership development, and change management.

​His curriculum has been used in schools and universities across the United States; he’s lead initiatives for discerning organizations like Best Western and the New England Patriots; his engagement programs have opened for nationally touring bands like Earth Wind & Fire and Alicia Keys; and his work has even been featured on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! And now Jonas is ready to share his three decades of experience with your school community!

As a Learning Experience Designer, Positivity Coach & Facilitator of Fascination, Jonas helps established and emerging leaders and their influencers stay alive, come alive, and thrive through customized programs that engage, empower, and encourage. These interactive programs include community engagement initiatives, leadership development workshops, and change management coaching, among other support services.

Jonas holds a Master of Education in Learning Systems Design from Purdue University, is an active member of the Phi Kappa Phi honors society, and has been recognized by Parenting 2.0 as a Global Presence Ambassador in recognition of his pioneering contributions to the field of Life Skills education.

"AH-me g" is a Radical Self-Acceptance and Trauma & Grief Support Coach, couple’s therapist, group facilitator, trainer, and teacher.

Ami created TLC Coaching and Consulting Services and The Compassionate Revolution of Grief and Grieving (CRGG) Course 1. Ami has been called "The Hope Restorer " and "a safe container" with whom you can wholly explore, feel, and talk about shame and guilt, trauma, loss, death and grief.

Ami is a psychic, intuit and empath, with a core belief in energy-based spirituality. She holds a master's degree in MH Counseling (with a focus in Contemplative Therapies, Positive Psychology, and Cultural Awareness), as well as having master’s level training in Psychosynthesis psychology and transformational life coaching.  Ami has over 40-years of extensive study, work and experience in the field of Metaphysical energy medicine and integrated healing.

​Ami uses and teaches Mindfulness (as a path to Chronic Pain Control, Emotional Self-Regulation, Self-Acceptance and Inner Peace); hosts a book group (for those who want to become spiritual allies toward dismantling racism); guides both an online “Meditation Family Group” (via MeditationChapel.org) and online “Movement Group” (moving the energetic, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies); and creates blogs, vlogs and podcasts via “Waking Up with Ami”.
