The word resilience is derived from words meaning rebound, recoil, and elasticity, and today it generally refers to the capacity to recover from difficulties.
Without resilience, even minor challenges can become roadblocks that discourage us from moving forward. And yet when you are resilient, you become empowered to continue forward even in the most difficult of times, with clarity, confidence, and courage.
The question becomes, what are you doing to enhance your capacity for resilience?
