Every year I make sure I have a few days to myself and simply relax. This time away from people, from work, from responsibilities, and from everyday life is a great recharge to ensure that I'm able to stay focused while in the trenches.
But beyond the few days away, it's important to take a few moments every day to be alone with our thoughts—to reflect, to meditate, to pray, to do whatever it is that we need to do to stay sane in the ever increasingly crazy world.
