"Do you wish to rise? Begin by descending. You plan a tower that will pierce the clouds? Lay first the foundation of humility." — Saint Augustine
Positive people are resilient people, and the most resilient people are those who develop high value relationships. If you or someone you know needs more positivity then take action today by starting a conversation with me.
When we're not able to be humble we must resign ourselves to humiliation.
It's simply inevitable. One or the other will come be ours, and it's our privilege to choose which one we get.
But who likes to be humiliated?
As for me, when I am wrong I'm excited to admit it.
When I don't know something, instead of pretending that I do, I openly admit to my lack of knowledge.
And when I require much needed help, instead of trying to prove how great I am on my own, I choose to ask for and accept help.
These steps are a great way to choose humility rather than humiliation.
What can you do today to embody humility?
