"Men and women should stay apart, till their hearts grow gentle towards one another again." — D. H. Lawrence
Every Easter for the past several years I've made a solo trek to the summit of Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire. In past years I've encountered some snow and ice up there—and this year was no different—but thankfully I was prepared this time around and brought microspikes with me!
While hiking up the mountain I stopped to enjoy the sounds of a gentle babbling brook and was reminded of the words of the author D. H. Lawrence:
"Men and women should stay apart, till their hearts grow gentle towards one another again."
I recorded a few thoughts on this while on the mountain and you can check it out in the video above.
