The word enjoy is derived from words meaning rejoice and be glad and today it generally refers to the things, activities, or state of affairs we take pleasure and delight in.
Without enjoyment, we tend to worry about the future and ruminate over the past, leading to increased discouragement, anxiety, and fear.
And yet, when we are able to enjoy our life experiences, we become encouraged to live in the moment and empowered to maintain interest and sustain effort with confidence.
The question becomes, what do you take delight in and what might you do to engage in these positive things more often?
