"Reading is a conversation. All books talk. But a good book listens as well." — Mark Haddon
Some of my best teachers and mentors are people I've never even met in person, and I never would have been positively influenced by them if I hadn't taken the initiative to pick up a book.
Books have the magical power to transport us to whole new worlds and to even learn things about ourselves that we perhaps never would have been able to experience otherwise.
What books are you reading? What are you learning from them? And perhaps the better question: How will you live your life differently because of these books.
A good book doesn't simply inspire us to sit and read another book; rather it motivates us into action—to live our lives differently, forever changed by the experience.
If you haven't found such a book, then I encourage you to keep reading. If you have found such a book, then I encourage you to please tell me about it...I'd like to check it out!
