"Beauty has so many forms, and I think the most beautiful thing is confidence and loving yourself." — Kiesza
When I woke up this morning my first thought was: "Just a few more minutes!"
But then my second thought was: "I wonder if it's too hot to go on my run today?"
I always look for an excuse, so I said to myself: "If the weather app says it's 90° outside, I'm not going!"
Imagine my chagrin when it was in the 70's this morning!
I took full advantage of the beautiful day by going on a vigorous 5 mile run around my neighborhood. During the run I thought to myself (and I think a LOT of thoughts while running) that we don't have to wait for beautiful days to take advantage of the wonderful things that this life has in store for us. We can play the hand we've been dealt and turn any day into a beautiful day.
This became the call to action for me, and I challenge you to it as well: "What can you do today and every day to make every day a beautiful day, regardless of the weather, regardless of the circumstances, regardless of all the things that we have 0% control over?"
Answer this question thoughtfully and you'll be well prepared for whatever the future holds!
