The word acceptance is derived from words meaning agree, admit, and receive, and today it generally refers to consenting and receiving something that is offered.
When we’re unable or unwilling to accept the reality of our circumstances, this willful blindness creates barriers to the truth and prevents informed decision making. And yet, when we are able and willing to accept the reality of our circumstances, we become empowered with truth and understanding, a sure foundation from which to initiate and manage positive change to continue growing through life.
The question becomes, how are you accepting the reality of your circumstances, and how can use this as a platform for your growth and development?
